Sadhguru School
At Sadhguru School we foster a new generation of rural African youth to become changemakers, dedicated to improving the communities and world they inhabit. Students are nurtured to become exuberant, fully rounded individuals who are in harmony with themselves and the world.
Background
The majority of our
parents are subsistence farmers, earning less than $3 a day. Rural schools are underfunded and understaffed, making it difficult to break the cycle of generational poverty. We believe rural children deserve the same quality of education as anyone else. To nurture their true potential is to invest
in the future of Africa.
Our Story
Sadhguru School, in Western Uganda, is the flowering of a small group of local volunteers with a strong desire to offer what they have to enhance lives and the environment around them.
To this end, investing their private savings and time to finance its construction and running, Sadhguru School opened in 2017 and currently provides schooling for over 120 rural students.
Our goal is to become sustainable through long-term Education Partnerships with a small family of visionary companies and individuals who want to push their own boundaries, while leading education opportunities in Africa.
